Looking back at my extraordinarily infrequent posts, they always seem to be notice of closing for November, or re-opening, but I haven’t even managed to do that this time! Just in case anyone has checked this site since New Year, or walked past the gallery while the blinds have been down, I must apologise. Fairly radical renovation to the middle bit of the building over the past few months has completely taken over, with boxes piled high downstairs, and furniture stored on the first floor.
Happily, the gallery is open again, I have a lovely new workroom which will be visible from the 1st floor landing, there’s new work on the walls, and more arriving very soon. Lynn Golden has just delivered two large pastels, and Kim Bentley has let me have some of her new London pieces, as well as lovely Cornish ones of Brea Hill. We also hope to have a new series of pots by James Campbell next week, and some of my own work will be ready to exhibit here shortly.
So, my apologies again for the silence. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the gallery, and showing off the new work and renovated spaces. Opening hours from now until November are as usual: every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 – 1 and 2 – 5, with the exception of Good Friday and May Day. Please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit at any other time.
